Gondola Ancol

This afternoon, me and my sister went to Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. It's so crowded!! Silly me, it's a holiday season so there are many traffic jams inside Ancol. Just to get inside we must give a lot of effort, including riding a super crowded Wara Wiri bus in dangerous position. Pyuhhh... We've already went to Dunia Fantasi and Sea World so we want to try other attractions. This time, we choose Gondola first then went to Ocean Dream Samudra later. My sister is a little bit afraid of height so she's a little scare when we ride the Gondola. Here are some pictures from our journey today:

The view from above
Overall, I think the ticket price (Rp. 45.000) is too expensive for this experience. The view from above is not really pretty and the journey is too short, just around 10-15 minutes. But that's just my opinion.

Ragunan Zoo (Taman Margasatwa Ragunan)

I went to Ragunan Zoo with my sister just now. This is my third visit but my sister never go to a Zoo before. So I'm gladly accompany her to Ragunan Zoo to see the cute animals. It is cheap and quite a pretty place so it's no wonder that Ragunan Zoo is among the top tourism spot in Jakarta. Here are some pictures that I took there.

Overall, I really enjoy it. My sister enjoy it too. Well, even though it was really exhausted since we have to walk and Ragunan Zoo is really vast. You can hire a bike though. Have you ever go to Ragunan Zoo? What do you think about it?

The History of The World According to Facebook (Book Review)

credit to edudemic.com
Have you ever wonder if facebook was present since the beginning of time? This parody book will give you an idea about what happened in their wall post if things or people from the past had a facebook. The result is something hilarious and creative. But of course you must not take everything seriously because what's in this book is always tongue-in-cheek.

I really love this book. I think it's one of the funniest history book I’ve ever read.  Go read it! I really recommend it for you.

Generation Freedom: The Middle East Uprisings and the Remaking of the Modern World (Book Review)

I love this book. A light reading that offer an insight about what happened in Middle East uprisings. From Egypt to Israel, Iraq, and Iran, it help me to understand the history of those regions. It is a compelling reading for people with little knowledge about things that happened in Middle East, like me. But people looking for more information or more thoroughly analysis might found that this book too light for their taste. Overall, I recommended you to read this book.

Mount Bromo

Last year, I have the opportunity to visit Mount Bromo in East Java. Many people said that it's really cold so I went there covering all of myself with many layers of clothes but it turns out  Amsterdam in Autumn is colder than in Mount Bromo^^. I really recommended this place because it's beautiful. I was so lucky I had a chance to pray in a Pura under this mountain. To reach the top, we can ride a horse. The price was about 75.000 - 100.000 rupiah depending on the distance. I went to saw the sunrise but many of other tourist are noisy and blocking the view. But here are some pictures of Bromo:

Mount Bromo is beautiful, isn't it?
